Mizpah (Watchtower) is the name given by Laban to the stone heap erected as a covenant boundary between himself and Jacob (Gen 31:49). Multiple sites carry this name in the biblical text, including Mizpah in Benjamin, an important assembly and sanctuary site (Judg 20-21; 1 Sam 7).
