Chapter 7
The Guilt Offering
1
[“]Now this is the law of the guilt offering, which [is] most holy:
— LXX Swete · 1
2
The guilt offering must be slaughtered in the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered, and [the priest] shall splatter its blood on all sides of the altar.
3
And all the fat from it shall be offered: the fat tail, the fat that covers the entrails,
וְאֵ֥ת כָּל־ חֶלְבּ֖וֹ מִמֶּ֑נּוּ אֵ֚ת יַקְרִ֣יב הָֽאַלְיָ֔ה וְאֶת־ הַחֵ֖לֶב הַֽמְכַסֶּ֥ה אֶת־ הַקֶּֽרֶב׃ wə·’êṯ kāl- ḥel·bōw mim·men·nū ’êṯ yaq·rîḇ hā·’al·yāh wə·’eṯ- ha·ḥê·leḇ ham·ḵas·seh ’eṯ- haq·qe·reḇ — WLC · 3

- both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which is to be removed with the kidneys.
5
The priest shall burn them on the altar as a food offering to [[YHWH|the LORD]]; it is a guilt offering.
— LXX Swete · 5
6
Every male among the priests may eat of it. It must be eaten in a holy place; it [is] most holy.
7
The guilt offering is like the sin offering; the same law applies to both. It belongs to the priest who makes atonement with it
כָּֽאָשָׁ֔ם כַּֽחַטָּאת֙ אַחַ֖ת תּוֹרָ֥ה לָהֶ֑ם יִהְיֶֽה׃ הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְכַפֶּר־ בּ֖וֹ ל֥וֹ kā·’ā·šām ka·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ ’a·ḥaṯ tō·w·rāh lā·hem yih·yeh hak·kō·hên ’ă·šer yə·ḵap·per- bōw lōw — WLC · 7
— LXX Swete · 7
8
As for the priest who presents a burnt offering for anyone, the hide of [that] offering -… belongs to him…
— LXX Swete · 8
9
Likewise, every grain offering that is baked in an oven… or cooked in a pan or on a griddle belongs to the priest who presents it,
— LXX Swete · 9
10
and every grain offering, whether dry or mixed with oil, belongs equally… to all the sons of Aaron.
וְכָל־ מִנְחָ֥ה וַחֲרֵבָ֑ה בְלוּלָֽה־ בַשֶּׁ֖מֶן אִ֥ישׁ כְּאָחִֽיו׃פ תִּהְיֶ֖ה לְכָל־ בְּנֵ֧י אַהֲרֹ֛ן wə·ḵāl min·ḥāh wa·ḥă·rê·ḇāh ḇə·lū·lāh- ḇaš·še·men ’îš kə·’ā·ḥîw tih·yeh lə·ḵāl bə·nê ’a·hă·rōn — WLC · 10
— LXX Swete · 10
The Peace Offering
11
Now this is the law vvv of the peace offering that one may present to [[YHWH|the LORD]]:
— LXX Swete · 11
12
If he offers it in thanksgiving, then along with the sacrifice of thanksgiving he shall offer unleavened cakes mixed with olive oil, unleavened wafers coated with oil, and well-kneaded cakes of fine flour mixed with oil.
אִ֣ם יַקְרִיבֶנּוּ֒ עַל־ תּוֹדָה֮ עַל־ זֶ֣בַח הַתּוֹדָ֗ה וְהִקְרִ֣יב׀ מַצּוֹת֙ חַלּ֤וֹת בְּלוּלֹ֣ת בַּשֶּׁ֔מֶן מַצּ֖וֹת וּרְקִיקֵ֥י מְשֻׁחִ֣ים בַּשָּׁ֑מֶן מֻרְבֶּ֔כֶת חַלֹּ֖ת וְסֹ֣לֶת בְּלוּלֹ֥ת בַּשָּֽׁמֶן׃ ’im yaq·rî·ḇen·nū ‘al- tō·w·ḏāh ‘al- ze·ḇaḥ hat·tō·w·ḏāh wə·hiq·rîḇ maṣ·ṣō·wṯ ḥal·lō·wṯ bə·lū·lōṯ baš·še·men maṣ·ṣō·wṯ ū·rə·qî·qê mə·šu·ḥîm baš·šā·men mur·be·ḵeṯ ḥal·lōṯ wə·sō·leṯ bə·lū·lōṯ baš·šā·men — WLC · 12
13
Along with vvv his peace offering of thanksgiving he is to present an offering with cakes of leavened bread.
— LXX Swete · 13
14
From the cakes he must present one portion of each offering as a contribution to [[YHWH|the LORD]]. It belongs to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offering.
מִמֶּ֤נּוּ וְהִקְרִ֨יב אֶחָד֙ מִכָּל־ קָרְבָּ֔ן תְּרוּמָ֖ה לַיהוָ֑ה יִהְיֶֽה׃ ל֥וֹ לַכֹּהֵ֗ן הַזֹּרֵ֛ק אֶת־ דַּ֥ם הַשְּׁלָמִ֖ים mim·men·nū wə·hiq·rîḇ ’e·ḥāḏ mik·kāl qār·bān tə·rū·māh Yah·weh yih·yeh lōw lak·kō·hên haz·zō·rêq ’eṯ- dam haš·šə·lā·mîm — WLC · 14
15
The meat of the sacrifice of his peace offering of thanksgiving must be eaten on the day he offers it; none of it may be left until morning.
וּבְשַׂ֗ר זֶ֚בַח שְׁלָמָ֔יו תּוֹדַ֣ת יֵאָכֵ֑ל בְּי֥וֹם קָרְבָּנ֖וֹ לֹֽא־ מִמֶּ֖נּוּ יַנִּ֥יחַ עַד־ בֹּֽקֶר׃ ū·ḇə·śar ze·ḇaḥ šə·lā·māw tō·w·ḏaṯ yê·’ā·ḵêl bə·yō·wm qā·rə·bā·nōw lō- mim·men·nū yan·nî·aḥ ‘aḏ- bō·qer — WLC · 15
— LXX Swete · 15
16
If, however, the sacrifice he offers is a vow or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day he presents his sacrifice, but the remainder may be eaten on the next day.
וְאִם־ זֶ֚בַח קָרְבָּנ֔וֹ נֶ֣דֶר׀ א֣וֹ נְדָבָ֗ה יֵאָכֵ֑ל בְּי֛וֹם הַקְרִיב֥וֹ אֶת־ זִבְח֖וֹ וְהַנּוֹתָ֥ר יֵאָכֵֽל׃ מִמֶּ֖נּוּ וּמִֽמָּחֳרָ֔ת wə·’im- ze·ḇaḥ qā·rə·bā·nōw ne·ḏer ’ōw nə·ḏā·ḇāh yê·’ā·ḵêl bə·yō·wm haq·rî·ḇōw ’eṯ- ziḇ·ḥōw wə·han·nō·w·ṯār yê·’ā·ḵêl mim·men·nū ū·mim·mā·ḥo·rāṯ — WLC · 16
— LXX Swete · 16
17
But any meat of the sacrifice remaining until the third day vvv must be burned up.
— LXX Swete · 17
18
If any of the meat vvv from his peace offering is eaten on the third day, it will not be accepted. It will not be credited to the one who presented it; it shall be an abomination, and the one who eats of it shall bear his iniquity.
וְאִ֣ם הֵאָכֹ֣ל מִבְּשַׂר־ זֶ֨בַח שְׁלָמָ֜יו יֵ֠אָכֵל הַשְּׁלִישִׁי֮ בַּיּ֣וֹם לֹ֣א יֵרָצֶה֒ לֹ֧א יֵחָשֵׁ֛ב ל֖וֹ הַמַּקְרִ֣יב אֹת֗וֹ יִהְיֶ֑ה פִּגּ֣וּל וְהַנֶּ֛פֶשׁ הָאֹכֶ֥לֶת מִמֶּ֖נּוּ תִּשָּֽׂא׃ עֲוֺנָ֥הּ wə·’im hê·’ā·ḵōl mib·bə·śar- ze·ḇaḥ šə·lā·māw yê·’ā·ḵêl haš·šə·lî·šî bay·yō·wm lō yê·rā·ṣeh lō yê·ḥā·šêḇ lōw ham·maq·rîḇ ’ō·ṯōw yih·yeh pig·gūl wə·han·ne·p̄eš hā·’ō·ḵe·leṯ mim·men·nū tiś·śā ‘ă·wō·nāh — WLC · 18
19
Meat that touches anything unclean must not be eaten; vvv it is to be burned up. As for any other meat, anyone who is ceremonially clean may eat it.

20
But if anyone who is unclean eats meat vvv from the peace offering that belongs to [[YHWH|the LORD]]…, that person must be cut off from his people.

21
If one touches anything unclean, whether human uncleanness, an unclean animal, or any unclean, detestable thing, and then eats any of the meat vvv of the peace offering that belongs to [[YHWH|the LORD]], that person must be cut off from his people.”
